ABOUT US

We, Doug and Debbie Prevette, retired from education, Doug in high school agriculture, and Debbie in middle school math. In 1989, we bought 41 acres that was formerly in tobacco, corn, and forest. It was more acreage than we expected, but we believe that God provided the opportunity for us to live our dream and honor Him with it. Today, we are a diverse horticultural operation, with a greenhouse, plant nursery, three acres of vegetables, one acre of blueberries, a plot of grapes and blackberries, and a newly planted acre of peaches. We call it Prevette Family Farm because we want to stand behind our name, and that family is essential to how we operate. Our goal is to produce quality fruits, vegetables, and plants that are fresh and safe at reasonable prices, while conserving our natural resources and enhancing the aesthetics of the land.
